Aces High Squadron Spotlight
This page was originally created by Brian "Ripsnort" Nelson to help those that may be interested in joining up in a squadron within Aces High. The format is an interview-style, and not formal by any means. It is simply to get an insider's view of what each squadron is all about.
After much work, Ripsnort decided that he no longer had the time required to continue with this, so the Screamin' Blue Messiahs took on the project. After a while, the Screamin' Blue Messiahs asked for a volunteer to keep the Squadron Spotlight updated.
Bob "United" Nicely took on the project and continues to update the Spotlight.
Squadrons from 2001-2003 have been omitted so that up-to-date Squadron Spotlights may be posted.
All squadrons listed are current for the time this web page was last updated (shown at bottom of page). The year in which they are listed may not have been the last time the squad site was updated.

Questionnaire |
Does your squadron fly in the Main Arena (MA), Combat Theater (CT), Special Events Arena (SEA), or a mix of the three? What is the historical background, if any, of your squadron? What are the names of your squaddies? Did your squadron have any ties to online flight sims in the past? If so, can you recall a mission (in Warbirds, FA, AW or AH) where 'everything went right' in 100 words or less? What type of planes does your squadron fly the most? Does your squadron have a regular meeting time for operations? Do you practice any specific tactics if/when your squad meets? What type of aircraft is on the squad wish list? Is your squad accepting any members and if so, what do you look for in a pilot? If your squad has a web site, what is the URL?
If you would like, send a copy of your squadron logo image along with the questionnaire to be posted on your Squadron Spotlight page. If possible, send the squadron logo in jpeg (.jpg) or GIF (.gif) format. Sending a bitmap (.bmp) may cause the image to be distorted. Fill out this questionnaire in an E-Mail and send it to United (bnicely@gmail.com) |
